We decided that the ABOUT US tab should belong to the founder of the brand - Edyta.
We asked her a few questions. Here's what she told us:
- Where are you from and how many years has the company been operating?
The LAVEL company was established in Andrychów - the Małopolska "knitting basin" in the picturesque Podbeskidzie region in 2007. This year we are celebrating our 14th year of operation.
- Where did the idea for such a business come from?
From the age of 15, I liked to stand out with my clothes. I sewed and changed my clothes myself and liked to dress up. I knitted my first bikini and lined it with foil. Technically, it might not be the best solution, but it looked great.
- Who designs your collections?
I personally am the only designer here. Every season I prepare several dozen models, of which we have to choose half, so as not to "overwhelm" customers with a large selection. Later, the whole team meets and discusses which models to leave. These conversations are not easy, opinions are divided. Some people defend their favorites like lions.
- Many people are surprised that despite 14 years of operation, only now they find out about the brand. Where do these voices come from?
In fact, until recently we did not focus on the extensive promotion of our brand. We distributed our products to other countries. We were very much appreciated in the East - we are a recognizable brand there. I don't want to brag, but apparently you have to sometimes. Our clothes have been appreciated many times at the prestigious Moscow TEXTILLEGPROM fair.
- Is it true that you personally advise clients, conduct telephone calls with them? and replies to e-mails?
Yes. Despite many other responsibilities in the company, I try to help our clients.
Gentlemen who want to buy a costume for their woman, mother, daughter or sister also come forward. Online sale of swimsuits must be perfectly refined in terms of size selection, which is why, together with our regular customers, we have developed an online fitting room, thanks to which we have minimized the need to change the size of the swimsuit for another one. Currently, our Dressing Room in 96% advises perfectly and please remember that we are talking only about new customers!

We prefer the phrase "how to try on online with us", because it perfectly describes what it's all about. Just click on the Try on tab in the menu of my online store. I just wanted to add that thanks to our confidence in the results of the online fitting room, we add a few bonuses to orders, including: free delivery, extended return time from 14 to 60 days and, if necessary, exchange at my expense.
- Do you like your job?
I adore! The mere awareness that women in our costumes relax during their holidays makes me think alone on a golden beach. And when ladies write to us e-mails thanking us for the great quality of the product and professional service - this is the greatest reward for me and confirmation that what we do makes sense.
