Is September a good time for vacation and departure? Although this period is associated with the return of the children to school, not all are parents.
Even when we have children, especially in younger classes or kindergartens or nurseries, we often skip their first days of learning. After all, the teachers are just getting started, there are no tests and school rigor.
Of course, we do not recommend excessive truancy, but a few days of slack at the beginning of the school year have not hurt anyone yet 🙂
What arguments speak for the September holiday? Southern Europe is still enjoying the summer without experiencing extreme heat. The off-season period also allows you to enjoy an attractive price for your trip, so you can spend more money on other pleasures: go crazy shopping abroad or try local cuisine in local restaurants.
Where to go in September to be sure of sunny weather? Most of us are sure to reach Malta, Crete, mainland Greece and Croatia, adored by Polish tourists. The local islands are a guarantee of a successful holiday with a lot of attractions for the body (sunbathing and swimming) and spirit (wonderful towns full of monuments worth visiting) .
There are of course also other destinations for people with more affluent wallets. Bali, Madagascar, Kenya or Tanzania. September trips to these exotic places are priced several times lower than in the high season. Maybe it is worth collecting funds for a vacation in such a place and buying a trip occasionally?
September in Polish mountains or Baltic resorts can also be quite sunny. However, there is no guarantee. Nevertheless, it is worth experiencing a walk along the seashore without having to miss hundreds of screens. Mountain walks to the Tatra valleys or to the Beskid peaks, usually besieged, can also impress you with a visual impression without a lot of hikers on the hiking trails.
Regardless of whether you are more tempted by European warm countries, exotic Africa or our Polish natural attractions - it is worth considering a late departure at the end of summer or early autumn. Our "battery" will then be charged longer before the next holiday.
