Voucher 1000 plus for holidays - for whom?
Bon 1000 plus aims to support the tourism industry, but at the same time it will help citizens to spend their holidays outside their place of residence - provided that it will be the territory of Poland. The project of co-financing the holidays is addressed only to people employed under a contract of employment, whose earnings do not exceed the average salary, i.e. PLN 5200 gross. The 100 plus voucher will be personal. Any person in the family who meets the conditions may submit an application. Company owners or persons employed under a mandate contract or a specific specific task contract cannot apply for co-financing.
Voucher financing conditions - the decisive decision of the employer
90% of the vouchers will be financed by the state budget, and 10% of the voucher value is covered by the employer. The employer's subsidy is to be voluntary, which means that if he cannot afford it or does not want to cover the required part of the subsidy, employees will not receive holiday support despite meeting the conditions mentioned in the previous paragraph. The government is planning support in the form of vouchers in the coming years, but it wants to gradually reduce the share of the state budget in financing them, which means greater costs for employers.
What can a travel voucher be used for?
The tourist voucher is valid only in Poland and can be used for:
- purchase of a domestic trip
- payment for accommodation in hotels, hostels and boarding houses
- renting a cottage or equipment, e.g. a pedalo
- purchase of entrance tickets to the museum and many other tourist attractions
- payment of the costs associated with hiring a guide.
You do not have to use the voucher immediately - it will be valid for two years from the moment you receive it.
A form of a 1000-plus holiday voucher
A voucher worth PLN 1000 will certainly not be transferred to the account in the form of cash. It will be available as a prepaid card or via a smartphone application.
How can I submit an application?
Details on how to submit an application have not yet been determined. You will probably be able to apply for a travel voucher to your employer in the near future. Perhaps it will also be possible to submit it to the commune office or by e-mail.
