Types of swimwear - bra types
Today, we divide swimsuits not only by the number of parts, but - above all - by the cut of the bra and the bottom. We start our guide from the beginning - bathing bras are the first priority.
Classic triangle bikini
In this case, the bra is sewn from two triangular pieces of fabric connected with strings. It is because of the tying around the neck and back that the costume is not very practical. Owners of larger breasts should give it up - delicate ties will not be able to support heavier breasts.
halter bikini
Halter is a slightly modified classic version of a bikini bra. Instead of the usual strings, wider strips of material have been used, thanks to which the costume will provide better support for the larger breasts. Similarly, the standard back fastener - it usually replaces the usual lacing.
Bikini bralette
Bra similar to the halter type bra. It will also work well with larger breasts - all thanks to the wide belts that connect the triangular cups with the back of the bra. This type is great for breast support. Of course, soft bowls and no underwires are some limitations, which is why bralettes are not recommended for women with large breasts.
bandeau bikini
A bandeau is often referred to as a bandage or bandage. In short, you can describe this type of bra - it is simply a strip of material that covers the breasts. In its traditional version, the bandeau has no other elements. Sometimes it is enriched with a string collecting the center of the bra, stiffening or underwire. This cut is full of dangers - it can flatten the bust and even create the optical impression of a drooping breast. It is recommended for women with an hourglass figure.
Balconette bikini
The balconette type costume most resembles a classic bra. So it will work almost always - both when the bust is medium and very abundant. All thanks to the appropriate stiffeners and underwires. The owners of extremely small breasts should, however, choose a different model, because the balconette may not properly display their strengths.
Tankini
It is one of the most popular solutions chosen by women with fuller shapes. A tankini is a costume whose top is ... a T-shirt. Depending on the model, it can have a sporty or more classic cut - then it has a built-in bra. Thanks to the appropriate length, the tankini will cover all the folds, and thanks to the bra - it will take care of the best support for the breasts.
Halterkini
Another costume that combines the comfort of a one-piece suit with the efficiency of a two-piece. In this case, the shirt has a built-in halter bra and is therefore tied around the neck. Thus, it perfectly emphasizes the shapely shoulders and neck, while covering the belly.
Bandeau tankini
Another variation on the tankini theme. This time it is a T-shirt, which - like in previous models - will perfectly cover the stomach and bra-band, i.e. the bandeau we already know. This costume is difficult to wear as it can often disturb the proportions of the female figure.
Types of swimwear - construction of the pit
We already have the characteristics of all available (at least for the moment! :)) types of bras in bathing suits. Sometimes, however, it is the bottom of the outfit that attracts the most attention. For this reason, it is also worth taking a look at the most popular models of briefs used in beach fashion.
Classic bikini bottom
They are usually two triangles tied at the hips. Thanks to the natural cutouts, they perfectly extend the legs. Unfortunately, they can emphasize additional folds, which is why they are recommended for women with flat bellies. If the figs have decorative, eye-catching ties, they can optically widen the hips.
Highly cut, low-waisted panties
One of the most feminine models that perfectly emphasizes the figure. Low waist perfectly exposes the line of the lower abdomen as well as the shape of the hips and buttocks. For this reason, however, it is recommended for slim people.
High-waisted briefs
Classic briefs that, depending on the model, can cover more or less the belly. Importantly, they not only mask it, but also support it perfectly - usually they have additional stitching or tightening trimmings. These briefs can be cut high on the thighs, thanks to which they optically lengthen the figure.
Hipster hipsters
Recently, a very popular model, especially among young people. These briefs are straight cut at the hips, thanks to which they optically lengthen the torso. What's more, they also perfectly emphasize the roundness of the buttocks.
Shorts
Variation on the theme of shorts. Depending on their condition, they may cover and gently flatten the belly. They will also hide any imperfections of the buttocks. They are especially recommended for people with narrow hips and rather slim thighs.
Skirtini
Panties with a sewn-on material imitating a skirt. Thanks to this treatment, the bottom of the costume will effectively cover all imperfections, such as extra folds. Usually it is recommended for all body types.
Types of one-piece dresses
Until some time ago, they were the most popular - and sometimes the only - type of bathing suit. Perfect not only for the beach, but especially for the swimming pool. Contrary to the classic bathing suits from years ago, the modern ones do not have to cover the entire body. Modern one-piece swimsuits can display the qualities of a woman's figure as well as a bikini.
There are classic one-piece costumes with a closed neckline, as well as those with a separate breast part - usually they have a built-in bra. The most modern and bold form is the monokini, which is a combination of a one-piece swimsuit and a bikini. A characteristic feature are the deep cutouts on the sides that optically slim the waist.
